What is it ?

• Obesity is a medical condition characterized by the accumulation of excess body fat that can lead to negative health outcomes. It is generally defined as having a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, which is calculated based on a person's height and weight.

• Obesity is becoming an increasingly significant concern in India. According to the World Population Review, India has the third-highest obesity rate in the world, with more than 30% of the adult population classified as obese.
